Thai women are really sensitive to the concept of saving face. They will often go to great lengths to maintain peace within their relationships and home by avoiding confrontation or the embarrassment of others. So, the wonderful thing to look forward about Thai brides or women in general is that they stay clear of negative or critical conversation. They’re not argumentative or judgmental when faced with issues or problems.
How not to attract a Thai Bride:
Even though Thai girls and women are fun loving and playful or what the term “Sanuk”, they are at the same time very subtle, quiet, polite and rather indirect. Think in terms that less is more with a Thai lady. So, in your eagerness to impress try to avoid talking or laughing excessively loud or anything that overtly draws attention to yourself. All of which will only appear inept and tactless and just an overall lack of sensitivity.
A polite man in Thailand will not even touch a Thai woman and for many only until she become his Thai bride will he touch her affectionately. Even still any public display of affection is unacceptable in Thailand.
Its often considered rude or insulting to stare at Thai women. That’s not to say that it’s ok here in America, it’s just more insulting in Thailand. Simply put avoid starring into the eyes of Thai people for too long. When Thai people communicate they do not look directly at each other and may only share brief eye contact.
